Today I want to give my opinion, and the public a hint, of the "major news announcement"
If you have never been in the HP Council Chambers, there is an inscription above the seats of the council members. They are powerful words, a covenant, to the people of this great town. It is....

Citizens who cherish their homes will vigilantly preserve their
heritage of self-government.

Every time I read these words, I am moved. To date, it is my opinion that despite my hard work to get elected, the town government of HP has not played fair with me. I realize that I'm not a past president of the HP Community Leauge like one of my opponents, Stephen Rogers, or an incumbent that is currently seated on council (none of the current HP council members were elected to their positions). But I do believe in what the covenant states above, and, I believe that our HP government should administer fairness and play fair.
Someone I greatly admire once told me to "choose your battles wisely...." I've drawn my line in the sand. This is the battle I will choose until I am seated as a HP Council Member.
