I walked to many homes today. I had a great time with my grass roots campaign, and a very special thanks to those that I spoke to. Your time was appreciated. I look forward to visiting more and more residents as election time approaches in late April. It's full steam ahead. Thank you all again!

The HP town secretary denied HP candidate information that is freely given out by other towns. Town secretary also denied candidate information to the Dallas Morning News and told them to file an open records request even after the candidate deadline passed. Very strange.

I recall being told by the town secretary's office that I would be notified for the drawing for position on the ballot. I was not notifified as I was led to believe, and missed the drawing (the town mysteriously drew for me and my position is #4 on the ballot). In my opinion, the town probably felt it would be a better party if I were not present. I believe what goes around comes around.

I've asked for copies for each of the six HP Council Member candidate appliications since March 15 and March 16 from the town manager, Bill Lindley, the town secretary, James Fisher, and the town attorney, Albert Hammack. It has been three days and counting and I have heard nothing. I would appreciate if I could be contacted to receive the requested information.
God bless.
