Sam C. Tamborello is a native Houstonian who received his degree in Economics from the University of Houston. Mr. Tamborello is also a graduate of Saint Thomas High School, a college preparatory school for young men that was founded in 1900.

Mr. Tamborello is a private investor and businessman who operates Locos Gatos Ranch and SCT Holdings.

In 2009, Mr. Tamborello was honored with a citizen commendation award by the Town of Highland Park, Tx for assisting the town's police in capturing a serial felon. The Commendation was for Mr. Tamborello's courage, citizenship, and willingness to make a difference in the community. The award was presented to Mr. Tamborello by Mayor Seay of Highland Park, Tx in council chambers.

Mr. Tamborello's interests include, the environment, animal cruelty prevention, farming and ranching, corporate and government ethics reforms, local politics, and treasure hunting.
